Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, former supermodel and filmmaker. Rene Marie Russo, born in the United States, is an actor, director and former supermodel. Her fame is based on her elegant beauty. Her longevity in an extremely competitive field showcases her talent and skills as an actor. She began modeling during the 1970s. Russo made her debut on the screen in ABCs Sable drama in 1987, playing Eden Kendell. In her debut film Major League two years after she portrayed Tom Berengers romantic interest. They were most impressed with her in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak where she held her ground against Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. According to her, she was never a fan for acting. She was in 2005 when she took to a break, which was her own decision. For the film Thor it was her return to acting. Also, she was in her husband's Oscar prize-winning feature film Nightcrawler. Later, she would star in light-hearted comedies such as The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas has been one among the most prominent UFC female athletes. She started out as an amateur fighter who competed in regional promotions, before signing up with Invicta Fighting Championships. Then she joined in the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Due to her successes in and outside the octagon, Namajunas has been known as a common name since joining UFC. Namajunas's family are Lithuanian as was her birthplace on the 29th June, 1992. Rose participated in many games as a youngster such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships took her on her when she was 18 years old and she was able to win 2 fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and in December 2014, at the age of 22, she signed her to fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has been through highs & lows during her career. But she has always won. Rose fought Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. The fight was won through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes after the start of the round. It was the first ever female to fight to win a title in any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas was able to record many wins, including two victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
